It is very important that you take care of your tattoo properly. In the first days, especially, it is essential, but you also have to follow care in the following weeks, months and why not say, years.

Get the most important tips for your care here. In this manual I’ll tell you step by step what you need to do. Following these instructions, I hope you are very happy with your tattoo for a long time.

GENERAL CARE (FROM DAY 1)

Please touch your tattoo with clean hands only.
After about 4 hours, remove the plastic sheet and clean your tattoo with neutral soap and/or warm water.
Let your tattoo air dry or dry it with a lint-free paper towel.
Apply a thin layer of tattoo cream. If possible, let your tattoo breathe, no need to cover it again with plastic.
Repeat this process every 3 to 4 hours.

DURING THE HEALING PHASE (1st WEEK)

If possible, clean your tattoo during the day and apply a thin layer of tattoo cream afterwards.
Avoid the narrow clothing.
During the night, use new transparent film if the tattoo artist advises.
Avoid sunbathing, solarium, sauna and swimming pools.
Do as little sport as possible.

DURING THE HEALING PHASE (2nd WEEK)

Clean your tattoo 3 to 4 times a day and apply a thin layer of tattoo cream afterwards.
Still avoid sunbathing, solarium, sauna and pool.

IMPORTANT

If she gets any scabs, please don’t get carried away. She’ll finally fall by herself.
Redness, swelling, itching, and sometimes a slightly feverish feeling are possible reactions after getting a tattoo and there is no cause for concern. But if you have any questions, you can write to me at any time.
These are general information. Each tattoo has to be treated differently, depending on the application process and the body part. Each artist will explain the indications individually.

FROM WEEK 3 ON

After it is completely cured, not all lines and shadows may be perfectly in the same condition. Because of this, you should send me your tattoo after about six weeks to evaluate if there is need to redo some parts. This will be free, excluding cases of clear evidence of not having taken the least care of the tattoo.

AND FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE

For your tattoo to retain its colors you must use proper sunscreen during the first year:
Protection factor 50 with black'n'grey tattoos.
Protection factor 50 with color tattoos.
Especially with colored tattoos we recommend using the protection factor 50 for life and cover it from the sun in summer.

If you still have doubts, don’t hesitate to write to me.
